Playing 22 Grand Prix Foursome

22" Grand Prix was super exciting. The top four dogs were a full second ahead of the next group of dogs. And dogs 2-4 were all within .04 seconds of each other. The video is a four way split screen. First at full speed, then at 1/4 speed so you can take it all in.

Here is the summary:
First dog off the teeter: Pickle

First dog on the dogwalk: Pickle

First dog off the dogwalk: Rage

First dog out of the Poles: Pickle

First dog on the Aframe:Focus

First dog off the Aframe: Rage

First dog over the Finish Line: Rage

Great comparison

I watched the video pausing it every so often to look at relative positions of the 4 dogs. At the very last jump all 4 dogs are all in the air above it at essentially the same time. Now that's close.

Sliding Seesaws Look So Cool

I am curious whether they are faster.

From the slowmotion video, counting frames from when the dogs break the entry plane of the seesaw board to when the board hits the ground:

Focus; 132 frames; 1.100 seconds;

Pickle & Rage; 134 frames; 1.117 seconds;

Encore; 149 frames; 1.242 seconds.

Focus, Pickle, and Rage have practically identical times over the seesaw.

Rage certainly had the longest, most spectacular, slide.  The dog was sliding well before reaching the seesaw's pivot.

When the dog is sliding, where is its weight?  Is the majority of the weight shifted rearward?

Is Rage a significantly lighter dog than Focus or Pickle?

They were all fabulous runs!

WOW!! just look at Rage's

WOW!! just look at Rage's slide!!! I could watch that all day!!! It's beautiful!!!!
